True, that's the main product page, but not my specific item, which clearly displays the item condition and any notes about the item. It would have been displayed on the product page. I can't see why anyone would buy a product without looking at the description, especially when it's displayed right next to the Add to Cart button. I've already provided proof to you that I knew this wasn't the exact item and this fact was plainly stated. I don't see how you can refute this. Here's how the product page looks when you go to purchase it:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000B5H2C8/ref=dp_olp_2/103-1254633-5835866?%5Fencoding=UTF8

The notice is displayed right there. It's impossible to miss unless you didn't look at it.

As for the contact issue, how was I supposed to know you were on vacation? Why did you order something when you were going to be away? How was I supposed to get a hold of you if a problem arose (which it did)? I've known any number of people that don't have the correct contact information on these sort of web sites, so as far was I was concerned, Amazon was sending an e-mail to an incorrect address, or you were deleting them when you read the generic Amazon header.

However, I did seem to make one error when I told you I don't offer refunds for this sort of thing (mostly because I was exasperated because of the silence). As stated in the sales policy:

If the item received matches the description on the site, it is considered the correct item.

If the buyer does did not read the description and orders the wrong item anyway, the item can be returned, but only half of the total cost (not including shipping) of the item will be refunded, and return shipping costs will rest with the buyer. This applies for item conditions as well. Please check the descriptions first!

Also, I have this policy, but I'm willing to overlook it:

Unfortunately, I can't accept returns on opened CDs and DVDs of any kind unless there are extreme circumstances. This is due to piracy risks.

So I apologize for that error. For the 50% refund, simply use the envelope the item came in, write "Return to Sender," and drop it off at the nearest post office. I'll refund promptly upon receiving it. Or you can resell it for a profit.
